Aims and learning outcomes

  • Be aware of the opportunities and threats faced by the individual engaging in change
  • In particular to appreciate many of the difficult feelings around change and find ways of dealing with these in yourself and others
  • Identify likely blocks to change and ways to remove them
  • Capitalise on the drivers for change and positive feelings which will enable change to happen
  • Be familiar with some of the key models of the change process, as they apply to individuals and to the organisation
  • Identify some tools to enable you to make a transition or change
